14 Days Kenya and Tanzania Combined Group Tour – Masai Mara – Lake Nakuru – Lake Naivasha – Amboseli – Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara – Tarangire

This morning begins with an airport or hotel pickup, breakfast, and a safari briefing from your guide before setting off for the Masai Mara. The drive takes in the Great Rift Valley viewpoint and lunch in Narok, followed by a game drive on arrival at the park, then dinner and overnight at your lodge.

Your guide will pick you up after breakfast with your picnic lunch and proceed on a full day game drive within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills, where the wild meets wonder. The reserve is the best park for game viewing in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range encounters, and it is known as the 8th Wonder of the World and the best park to view the big cats. You will break for your picnic lunch at Hippo Pool, looking out for hippos and crocodiles. In the evening after the game drive your guide will drop you at the Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Optional early morning balloon ride can be organised at an extra cost.

After breakfast you will be picked up from the Lodge or camp and proceed to the Masai Village for a cultural tour known as the Maasai village tour, at an extra cost. We then depart for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in time for dinner and overnight stay at the Lodge or Hotel.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed into Lake Nakuru National Park, well known for the many different bird species recorded here and as a home to both the black and the white rhinoceros. The park was established for the protection of endangered species such as the rhino and is also home to colobus monkeys, leopards, giraffes and a variety of plains antelope. Late in the afternoon, drive to Naivasha arriving in the evening. Dinner and your overnight stay will be at Dove Nest Resort.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and depart the Lodge or camp for Hell’s Gate for registration. Here you can cycle or enjoy a drive, as Lake Naivasha is one of the few places where you can explore on foot. Hell’s Gate National Park has attractions such as Olkaria and Hobley’s, two extinct volcanoes, and obsidian formed from cooled molten lava. Within the park is Hell’s Gate Gorge, lined with red cliffs and containing two volcanic plugs, Fischer’s Tower and Central Tower, with a smaller gorge extending to the south where a path descends to hot springs. Later, with your hot lunch on the way, proceed to Amboseli National Park to arrive in the evening. You will be dropped at the camp for dinner and overnight.

A day of game drives in this park, which contains swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We cater for picnic lunches and you return to the camp for dinner and overnight.

Depart Amboseli after breakfast for the drive to Namanga, with lunch en route. Immigration formalities at the border are followed by the continued journey to Arusha, arriving during the day to check into your hotel.

You will be picked up from your hotel after breakfast and depart Arusha for Lake Manyara with lunch enroute, then proceed to Lake Manyara National Park for an afternoon game drive. The park is famous for its tree climbing lions and large flocks of flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge or campsite.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and proceed to Ngorongoro with a game drive enroute and your lunch on the way, enjoying final game viewing as you drive to the Ngorongoro Conservation Area and arriving in the afternoon. The Ngorongoro Crater is one of the seven wonders of Africa. Later you will be dropped at the camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.

Head down into the Ngorongoro Crater this morning for a memorable few hours of game viewing on the caldera floor, followed by a picnic lunch. The afternoon drive takes you out of the crater and onward to the Serengeti, arriving by evening for dinner and overnight at your lodge or camp.

This full day in the Serengeti is spent game driving across open plains with picnic lunches, watching for the park’s big cats alongside spotted hyena and less commonly seen predators like the aardwolf and serval cat. You return to the lodge or campsite for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and one last game drive in Tarangire, depart for Arusha with a stop for lunch along the way. Dinner and overnight follow at your hotel.

Leave after breakfast for Tarangire, arriving for lunch. An afternoon game drive introduces you to the park’s baobab-studded landscape and large elephant populations, among the densest concentrations in Tanzania. Dinner and overnight follow at your lodge or campsite.

This final morning begins with breakfast before transfer to the shuttle terminal for the bus back to Nairobi. You’ll arrive in the afternoon and be dropped at your hotel or the airport; if Zanzibar is your next stop, we can instead drop you at Arusha Airport.
