10 Days Kenya and Tanzania Private Circuit – Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara – Serengeti – Ngorongoro – Amboseli

Your Lakeland Scenic Holidays guide meets you at the airport or your hotel, with breakfast to follow. You will be introduced to your guide and given a full briefing regarding your safari programme. Once these final details are settled you will start your safari to Lake Nakuru National Park. On the way you will make a first stop at the viewpoint to see the escarpment, and later you will see Mount Longonot and Lake Naivasha in the distance from the main highway. On arrival at Nakuru you will be dropped at the Lodge for a hot lunch, or you will have your lunch on the way. Lake Nakuru is known for its flamingos and for the white and black rhino. You will game drive until the evening, after which you will be dropped at the Lodge or Hotel for dinner and overnight.

After an early morning breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed into Lake Nakuru National Park for a game drive, later departing for the Masai Mara to arrive in time for lunch. After lunch your guide will take you into the reserve for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the Lodge.

After your breakfast you will have a full day of game viewing within the reserve. The landscape here is scenic savannah grassland on rolling hills. The reserve is the best park for game in Kenya as it has an extensive road and track network which allows for close range viewing and photography. Break for your picnic lunch at the hippo pool, and after lunch continue with afternoon game viewing. In the evening you will be dropped at your Lodge for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and proceed to the Maasai Village for cultural activities. Afterwards your guide will take you on to Serengeti via the Isebania border with your lunch on the way. The Kenya guide will transfer you at Isebania where you will meet the Tanzania guide. After immigration at the border you proceed to Serengeti with a game drive enroute, arriving in the evening at your camp or Lodge for dinner and overnight.

A full day is dedicated to game viewing across the Serengeti, departing after breakfast with picnic lunches for the road. The park’s big cats share the plains with spotted hyena and rarer predators like the aardwolf and serval cat, making for a day of varied sightings. Return to the lodge in the evening for dinner and overnight.

A morning descent into the Ngorongoro Crater brings you close to some of the highest wildlife densities anywhere in Africa, from grazing herds to resident predators patrolling the caldera floor. Following a picnic lunch inside the crater, you ascend the rim road and continue to Arusha for your overnight stop.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and descend 2000ft into the Ngorongoro Crater, exploring and viewing animals from a depression angle until you arrive at the crater floor. Enjoy a picnic lunch at the crater, ascend, and drive to Arusha where you will be dropped at your Arusha hotel booked on bed and breakfast.

After breakfast you will be picked up by your guide and proceed to the Namanga border, where he will connect you with the Kenya safari guide. After you have your passport stamped at the Namanga border your Tanzania guide will hand over to your Kenya guide, and you proceed to Amboseli with your lunch on the way, arriving at the Lodge or camp in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast your guide will pick you up and proceed for a full day game drive in this park, which contains swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance. A variety of plains game, antelopes and birds can also be seen, and Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak too if weather conditions permit. We cater for picnic lunches and you return to the Lodge or camp for dinner and overnight.

After breakfast and checkout, depart Amboseli National Park for Nairobi, with clear mornings often rewarding you with views of Mount Kilimanjaro rising above the plains. A picnic lunch is served en route, and you arrive in Nairobi by late afternoon, where you’ll be dropped at the airport or your hotel.
