9 Days Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru, Masai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli Safari

Your Lakeland Scenic Holidays guide meets you at the airport or your hotel, with breakfast to follow. You will be introduced to your guide and given a full briefing regarding your safari programme. Once these final details are settled you leave Nairobi and drive to Lake Baringo and Lake Bogoria for the hot springs and the flamingos. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

After breakfast depart for Lake Nakuru National Park and enjoy an afternoon game drive in the park, known for its white and black rhino and for its many different bird species. Dinner and overnight at Lake Nakuru Lodge.

Breakfast at the lodge is followed by the drive south from Lake Nakuru, climbing over the Mau Escarpment en route to the Masai Mara. Lunch and a short break precede an afternoon game drive in search of the big five, with the fading light ideal for photography and leopard sightings. Dinner and overnight at the lodge.

An early morning game drive, returning to camp for breakfast. After breakfast a full day is spent in the park with a packed lunch, in search of its well known residents including the predators and their prey, zebra, wildebeest, giraffe, hippo and the crocodiles of the Mara River. A second full day in the reserve. An early morning game drive, returning to camp for breakfast, then out again with a packed lunch to explore new sections of the Mara and return to the previous day’s best sightings, with a visit to the Mara River. All meals and overnight at the Lodge.

After breakfast, visit a nearby Maasai village for a cultural exchange before continuing on to Lake Naivasha, with lunch served en route. Arrival in the evening is followed by dinner and overnight at your lodge.

This morning’s tour of Hell’s Gate National Park takes in its extinct volcanoes, obsidian formations and dramatic red-cliffed gorge, with volcanic plugs and a path leading to natural hot springs. Afterwards, continue to Amboseli with lunch en route, arriving in the evening for dinner and overnight.

After an early breakfast, leave for a full day game drive in Amboseli National Park, staying out until sunset. The park contains swamp grounds where elephants and hippos bathe in abundance, alongside plains game, antelopes and birds, with Mount Kilimanjaro’s peak visible if weather conditions permit. Overnight at the Lodge.

An early morning game drive precedes a full breakfast back at the lodge, before the drive to Nairobi along the Namanga road. You can be dropped at Emali to connect with the train to Mombasa, or continue to Nairobi for drop-off at the airport or your hotel.
